This quilt is exactly the same pattern as Communication I, but is a different effect. Constructed in a whole cloth technique using hand-dyed fabric, it depicts quieter times of communication with God. The triangles of prayer are subtle trapunto stitching while the rays from above have little contrast. The center panel is heavily quilted and the people around the world are again in positions of prayer.
